Who are the Divas?
Democratic Divas
For as long as there has been political debate, women have been involved. At
kitchen tables, then at public gatherings, then the feature at candidate kick-off
parties. For as long as there has been problems to solve, women have been
involved. Whether at home, inspiring the next generation; in the schools, teaching
the youth; or as the CEO of companies that are developing solutions.
So now come the Divas! The dictionary says ...
diva
noun
* an admired, glamorous, or distinguished woman : the former director of the association is still a
downtown diva.
* a haughty, spoiled woman : she's such a diva that she won't enter a restaurant until they
change the pictures on the walls to her liking.
ORIGIN late 19th cent.: via Italian from Latin, literally 'goddess.'
The Divas will meet to inspire, teach and lead in a most unique fashion - through
gathering together in a casual, fun and most goddess-like environment!
